The HU Announce Massive European Tour for Autumn 2026
Mongolian rock pioneers The HU are packing up their horsehead fiddles and throat singing for their biggest headline tour across Europe in autumn 2026. 23 cities in nine countries are on the itinerary, including four dates in Germany. French Nordic folk artists SKALD will join as special guests.
From the Steppe to the Big Stages
Anyone who has caught The HU at festivals or in a support slot over the past few years knows: this band defies every genre label. The combination of traditional Mongolian instruments like the Morin Khuur, raw throat singing and modern heavy rock creates a sound the band themselves call “Hunnu Rock”. Since forming in 2016, The HU conquered a global fanbase in record time through viral YouTube videos and now count over 960 million streams.
For the upcoming tour, the Mongolians promise fresh material and a revamped setlist. “Our new setlist is full of hope and energy,” the band stated. Given that the single “The Real You”, released in January, leans significantly more towards Western metal sounds, it will be exciting to see which musical direction the shows take. A third album has not been officially announced yet, but the signs are pointing that way.
A Packed Tour Year in 2026
The European tour is just one piece of an extremely busy concert year for The HU. In May and June, they will tour the US, sharing the stage with Finnish cello metallers Apocalyptica. In August, they join Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson’s “Freaks On Parade” tour. A special highlight awaits on July 11: The HU will play as support for Iron Maiden at the anniversary concert at the legendary Knebworth Park, alongside The Darkness, Airbourne and The Almighty.
